Our approach was to create an elegant and aesthetic application for controlling lights.
Hue Remote is reduced to the pure function leaving behind skeuomorphism and an overhead of features.

The navigation & interaction of Hue Remote is based on dragging and pinching for fast access
to your favorit color scenes and functions. Or simply use your voice.

Hue Remote is available in the AppStore and requires the Philips hue bridge.

Found a color you like?

Press and hold a lamp to activate advanced options like copy & paste to apply your favorite color to other lamps.
You can also simply shake the device to activate a random color.

Save your favorite light settings as scenes and sync them across devices with iCloud.

"Using GPS Hue Remote "knows" when sunset will be and can
automatically turn on your lights when it gets dark.
Even if the app is not running."

Using displays in the night can sometimes be far too bright.
Hue Remote can automatically switch between a dark and a bright theme depending on the sunset.

"Speech recognition: Why not talk to your light?"

Activate scenes, control lightstates and ask for random colors.
To enable speech recognition just pinch the screen with two fingers.

Since you chose your own names for your scenes & lamps it is up to you what Hue Remote will understand besides the standart commands.
